Our Philosophy

“Play gives children a chance to practice what they are learning.”

— Mr. Rogers

Learning through play.

Our program’s focus is on the individual growth of each child through a developmentally appropriate, child-centered approach that involves children making choices and learning through exploration, experimentation, and hands-on experiences.

Families and children of all cultures and abilities enhance our program, providing opportunities for children to learn about and appreciate differences.

Program Goals:

  • To develop children's cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth, while preparing for Kindergarten.

  • To provide young children with a safe and meaningful first educational experience away from home.

  • To help children grow in trust toward adults other than those at home.

  • To help children learn to interact and negotiate with each other and to be sensitive to feelings, interests and needs of others.

  • To help children develop good feelings about themselves and confidence in their abilities.
